Thread: What to do after Novice Chef, advice needed
Thanks!
I dont think it's that bad of a plan, get it over with and out of the way.
Cooking 1 is kind of a dissapointment but you have to do it, so getting it done earlier sounds pretty good.
I appreciate this opportunity to benefit from your wisdom.
Now I havetwofollow up questions.
1) Why is Cooking 1 a disappointment? I assume you at least get two more experimentation points to play with, right? Do you get more as you move up the Cooking tree?
2)Is there anything in Mixology 1 that is useful for grinding up the tree, and/or is there anything in Mixology that is potentially salable even unexperimented?
Thanks again to both of you for helping me with this! It looks like no matter what I do, I'll still be making plenty of Wastril Bread.

You only get 1 more experimentation point, meaning you still have a 34% chance of failing, meaning it's not worth experimenting tillyou get to at least cooking II.Cooking II gives you 2 more points (for a grand total of 5 I think), III 3, IV 4. Also, I'd suggesting getting a really nice crafting tool (in the big patch you'll be able to examine tool effectiveness), as that seems to decrease your chance of failing when experimenting.

Deuterium-pyro is something like 100 points of experience, so yes.
Stuff I like in Mix 1/2:
- Veronian Berry Wine (health/mind/action)
- Durindfire (mind)
- Granilyn juice (quickness/focus)
- Bantha blaster (str/focus)
Important note: the drinks that require alcohol also will take the higher-end alcohol-like substances (like Kylessian Fruit Distillate). If you just use alcohol, your drinks will suck, but if you use the nice stuff it gets much better. I got bought a few nice crates of higher end alcohols off a master chef and it had a huge effect, generally making the negative effects of the alcohol go positive.
While we're on the subject, what about the effectiveness of crafting stations? (You know, the big hulking things you have to sit beside while you use your crafting tool.) Or droid crafting modules? Do either of those affect your cooking success, and what effectiveness do the crafting stations in town seem to be?
Thanks
