Chefs, from a non-chef.

Its very, very hard finding a chef on Kettemoor. I run a business, going into its third week and finding anyone who can cook or mix drinks and wants to roleplay seems nigh impossible. And this is only for 4-8 hours a week.

We have a good kitchen setup, we have constant customers that want to eat and drink and aren't worried about buffs. We have a need for chefs that can change the name on drinks or food as needed and have a lot of fun. We offer to support the chef with buying his ingrediants and giving out food. What do we expect? A bit of competance and an outgoing or outrageous personality that can have fun with the job.

No takers.

Now if Chef's feel they must have great food buffs to be a viable profession than alright, but that's not why I want a chef and am willing to pay salary and price of goods for them to experiment.

I've spent over 50-75k on the Bazaar for drink ingrediants just to get us up and running on basics like caf, beer, bliels, starshines doing factory runs. I don't want stacked items I'm selling alcohol in a cantina and I want them to come back to the bar for refills so stacks of 1 make the most sense to me, and crates are the best storage option. But we are constantly mixing specials for the customers or getting something different.

I believe it should be required for people to eat and drink or suffer health penalties in this game. I'd also like to think that perhaps chef items could be restricted to Cantinas, Hospitals and Homes. These are places people are all gravitating to because the game forces them to deal with battle fatigue. Doesn't it make sense they would fill up on food and drink in those places too? Therefore you'd always have a ready crowd.

But aside from ingrediants, and buffing what would actually make your profession fun? Or do people Only go into professions for money and skill usage? Because I've seen a lot of people advertising for chefs in our galaxy and no one around to fill it.

While I can't help you, this is probably the board to use when looking for one. Just use the server name in your title toattract more people from your server.

Maybe chefs need another roll call? It's been a while since the last one.
