Since I've decided to become a Creature Handler (someday), in the meantime I figured I'd help out the pet community. I'd like to specialize inmass quantities of cheap pet food and most likely go around to different planets and sell it on the bazaar. No, I don't expect to get rich. I'm just tired of doing missions at the moment.

Anyway, my question is this. Can food be sold on the bazaar in containers? And, if so, what kind of container should be used, and where can I get them?

some people sell food in packs or satchels, but the reason i don't is that it lists in the bazaar under containers, not with the food. i think the buyer has no reliable way to know what's inside, either (other than your custom description; examining the pack just shows number of items inside).

i may be wrong, but this is what i've read. i just sell food individually. what i really do is grind in the middle of town and i'm usually approached by a CH that can tell exactly what i'm doing and asks for food. happens all the time. i don't ask for money, but they always pay.

You can put it in travel packs (available in Domestics 3 or 4, sorry I forget which) but the packs will only show up in the misc. container category. Not in the foods so they may be overlooked. I put packs on my vendor but not on the bazaar. You could try doing some campaigning at the bank to raise awareness and get people to look for them with the other travel packs. To keep from having to make packs all the time you can offer some credits back if the customers return the pack to you.

If you arent interested in gaining skills, and just want to make a quick credit, make crates of food in a factory.
