Thread: How to make bulk Sunburns now?

Hi everyone,

I was hoping for a bit of advice. I have been financing my road to Master Chef buy selling backpacks full of Sunburns. Always before, I would make a backpack and drop it in my house, then fill it with Sunburns. My customers would come to me and pick it up or I would deliver it to them.

With the changes to houses and the fact that the food factories don't work for making final products (unless this was changed?) I don't think that will work anymore. With my small house I only have room for 50 items -- less than a full backpack. Unfortunately, because I now have to store so much on my character, I also have no place to make the packs up and fill them on my character.

I suppose I can start selling only 1/2 packs full, but even then I will have to make them and deliver them immediately or I have no inventory space left for anything else. Quite inconvenient.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks!

Vendors, bazaar.... Vendors aren't supposed to count toward house item totals (they are going to fix that). Or, wait for the factory fix that we're all hoping and praying for, and then you can sell crates.

True, but how to make them for the customers who have come to religiously buy bulk amounts of Sunburns from me? I can no longer sell them by the pack fulls to these people. They can't get them off the bazaar. I suppose I can upload them all to my vendor and then can buy them from there but I give a better price to people who buy in bulk so it would seem that they would have to stand there and wait while I made each one individually.

That seems to be a very choppy way to run a business

Could always buy another small house and put it next door. Emptyexcept for acouple backpacks on the floor. This patch hurt, sacrificing/maintaining another lot is gonna cost a fair bit more.

Read the dev posts. Houses weren't intended to be like this.

They will have 75storage/lot, and vendors wont take space. Crates will be 1 space each instead of 5. This will be the case starting tomorrow.
