Plinka (Politician Correspondent) has just posted in that forum that the Cantinas will take only 5 lots this Thursday.

For this, I am grateful. Sure beats the snot out of 7 lots. Now if we could just get a confirm on the storage of 250 I hear being thrown around, I will be even more happy.

Someone else posted earlier on cantinas being 5 lots, and orginally it was 6. I am also interested in finding out how much storage a cantina has. I will be putting mine up today I think and will let you know unless someone else posts it.

Depending on when your city went up you'll have to wait for some time tommorow, it requires a level 2 city
I knew, I already tried, and yes it is 5 lots, says so when you try to build it.

I would be happier if they added a basement, and a way to place food on tables.. Because cantina's don't have stairs to a second story we can't place food/drinks on top of items..

Yeah, it would have been better with another floor, either basement or second floor....but it's too late now. We may be able to get it sometime in the future, but adding stuff like this will take a lot of time (at least that is the answer I keep getting, and I ask a lot)

As for putting food on tables....I hope that is coming soon.

5 is cool with me and I agree with the others it would be cooler if it had a seperate room or basement of some kind so I have somewhere to live.....

I hope I can declare residency with it.

Thats a good point Saitek, can you use the cantina as a residence? God i hope so, if i have to do the curly shuffle with my lot usage i dont want to have to maintain a seperate town residence.

Yes. You can even grant Admin to others and allow them to place vendors. So long as the lot owner is a Master Chef/Dancer/Musician.

My PA city mayor says it will take up zero lots as long as it's placed within the city limits. Is he confused with civic structures placed by the mayor?

He is confused. The Cantina is a player building. It can only be placed within city limits (AFAIK) and takes up 5 lots.

Doesn't anyone have a picture of the layout or do i need to wait two more hours until I place mine?
