Hello,

As the title stats, I'm a ranger looking to sell to chefs. Thing is, I never have before; I'm unsure of creature resources used/needed, and the important stats of each.

If someone could fill me in, I'd appreciate it. Thanks!

I'm kinda in the same boat. I actually have a specific question: do you guys need Carnivore Meat in any of your schematics? I have a huge stack of like 7000 + carnivore meat that is 980 OQ, 864 PE, 600s FL, but I can't seem to sell it, and it's a shame. Do you guys have use for it? Thanks.

Carnivore meat is used in Xermaauc, which buffs health and the health substats. It's not a best-seller by any stretch, since Thakillo does the same thing to a much greater extent and is made of harvestable resources that are more readily available. Plus, the health foods don't sell as well as the mind foods. Still, Xermaauc calls for herbivore meat as well in an equal amount. If you could offer a Chef some of that in an equal amount and approximately equal quality, you might get a few takers.

Just thought of something else that might help, if you're interested in selling to chefs. I don't know if others are having the same problem as I am getting large quantities of domesticated meat, but we can always use that to make Glazed Glucose Pate, which I have some demand for. The problem is that there are very few mobs that have it. Just off the top of my head, I know that plodding falumpasets do.

I use carnivore meat in Bivoli Tempari, and go through a fair amount of it. I also use insect meat in Vercupti, and would make more Glazed Glucose Pate if I ever saw domesticated meat for sale. Then Ormachek, which there seems to be a reasonable market for, uses any kind of meat. The important stats on any of these are OQ and PE, same as for most other applications. Quantity is important too - stacks of at least 2k (and preferably bigger) mean longer factory runs and less work for the chef.

If a ranger in my galaxy offered to sell me any of these meats, it would make my day. And probably vice versa - one of my food customers approached me recently about buying a rather large stack of 900+ OQ/PE carnivore meat, and walked away over a million credits richer.

The problem is that we cant reach the price rangers are asking for the carnivore meat. 25cpu is not a good price for us and that's the price most rangers ask in good carnivore and insect meat.
