Cap is 12 experimentation point, however one experimentation point = +10 food experimentation.


The cap on all clothing is +25, however +20 will get you 2 more experimentation points.

+12 = 1.2 experimentation points, not enough for the 12pt chef

So having a +25 points will still give you just 2 experimentation points?

As a master chef you get +100 to Food Experimentation with each 10 points giving you an experimentation point hence 10 point chef. For every +10 you add, you get an additional experimentation point. The cap on clothes is +25 however the extra 5 will not add anything to you. +20 is all that is needed to make 12 Point Chef. Some say the extra +5 gives you better chances at amazing sucesses during the experimenting phases but has not been proven one way or the other since it is literally imposible to test.

like slingblade said, it's almost impossible to prove that there is a greater chance of amazing success with +25 food exp from attachments. i'll swear by it though. i went for about 6 months with +20 from attachments and at times it would take 50+ tries to get an all-amazing schematic.after i upgraded by buying a +25 food exp CA and selling my old suit, it never took me more than 24 tries to get the schematic. nowi realizethat's not exactly rock-hard evidence, but i'd bet if you decided to shell out for the extra +5 you'd be pleasantly surprised with the better success.
