Thread: feeling a little robbed
lets try no for 5000 credits.
i am excited at the new foods .. a little aggavated that now alot of people will jump on the band wagon for the $$ .
i will miss the old days when it took determination and patience to be a chef for LITTLE or no one wanted to pay a decent amount for your wares.
does anyone remember the days when people would mutter "worthless profession"
i remember the master chef count being <10 per server
i am not mad i am just putting out what i have been thinking ...
i still think a 1 uber profession per PC woulld be a good idea.
As far as the Bandwagon on the $$ goes. With an additive in the food, prices are high, well quite simply because of the resources used to get the biological component from a BE. High Quality meat is something that is hard to get MASS quantities of. Along with the fact that the Additive over doubles the final product stats (depending on which u use). If you say your not in it for the money your kind of kidding yourself, the fact that i sell something regardless of the price is nice in itself.
But you have to look at the large picture with these new foods, especially the mind food/drink. It takes more resources, buffs more stats then the old counter part and a much longer duration in one case. So simply saying that everyone is adjusting to these new foods and most are working hard to make reasonable prices for everyone, but considering what it takes and how much it takes, its hard to make them for the average player.
On to topic, why feel robbed?!?!? The change was actually a good one. Considering the fact that AFS and Bivoli were good, but if you look at the stats on the final product for Brandy and Canape, these are MUCH better then Fishak or Bivoli, because they buff more then one stat, and your regen rate can be ungodly.
So dont worry, take the time on the adjustments, make close friends with your BE/Tailor and enjoy. ![]()
