Thread: I just tested Bespin Port....No results.
Port is either not working, or produces such a small difference so as to have its effects by unnoticable, which is much my impression of several of the combat foods as well. I do not not notice myself dodging more while under the effects of Air Cake, nor being missed more while using Veghash. Dizzy still knocks me on my butt 9 out of 10 times while I'm using Ithorian Mist. Or, should I say, while I was using Mist, Hash, etc. Having consumed my experiments and distributed a couple other stacks to friends, I have no intent of making more.

It says it increases the success rate of an experimentation.
That makes be believe it shoudl bring a Good toa Great, a Great to an amazing and so forth....I used 5 times and got Great everytime(Which I normally get great everytime almost anyway).
It should increase teh success rate a little...therefore should add a slight % onto my great(Some greats can be better than other greats)..so I should hav eat least saw a slight % increase in my experimentation with Bespian than without..and I didn't.
The way I understand, and this is from talking about how Research Center cities work.. it is not the sucess of how "powerful" the experimentation will be but more of a chance of getting a higher success. Think of it like so if someone says: "Pick a number between 1 and 100". Taking bespin port it would be: "Pick a number between 1 and 80".. your chances to guess the right # would be better when the range is smaller.
well met,
A master chef friend of mine made me some samples to play with. here are my results from experimenting:
attempt #1= drink achieved crit fail *ditched armor piece * = 1 drink
attempt # 2= great success, Crit Fail * ditched armor piece*= 2 drinks
attempt #3 = moderate Success , Great Success, Crit Fail *ditched armor piece*= 3 drinks
Attempt #4 *no bespin port * Great success , amazing Success, Great Success Achieved 80% kinetic in sp , 64 % base (adv composite) = 0 drinks
The player city i live in is a research center, my stations are + 41.3 , my crafting tools are 13.5 , I have+2 armor assembly skill tapes, and + 1 point in Armor Experimentation.
I do not understand how chef class works. And i understand i may not have tried enuff samples. But here are my results for everyone to debate.
I normaly only get 1 crit fail per 6 full suits of adv composite i make. and usualy get great sucess's with a couple amazing and a rare moderate.
the stats on my port i used was filling 23 experimentation 9
I have noticed more critical fails crafting since the patch and have seen others post the same. May be that they tweeked the numbers a bit.
