Thread: Adios to another chef.

Well, I'm not actually giving up all of my chef skill boxes. I'm keeping Iron Chef and Culinary Master, but if they don't fix chef before I run out of skill points, then I'll probably slowly be giving them up, too.

What really bums me out is that when I found out what chef was for, I was so excited. I wanted to be a chef and a fence, just so that I could buff people. Making them better at the game, that's what I thought sounded cool.

But that's not how it turned out at all. I put hours and hours into this character only to end up with ... nothing. We still have no milk, so we can't enhance our food. Our buffs poison people and NO ONE is doing anything but giving it lipservice--sorry, but it should be a hotfix, because that's a MAJOR problem. Our profession, like many, is half finished.

These things, and many more, have finally gotten to me. I'm sick and tired of it, and I'm off to play something that gives me more joy that this does; quite possibly Final Fantasy XI since I've almost worked my way through every single profession and both factions, and found only disappointment.

In the past I have told people who were leaving is to take a break from chefs and come back when they start making changes so you can enjoy the changes.

Now I am telling you....bad move. Stick around, things are about to get interesting.

With nothing concrete, I cannot believe you. Right now I am not praying for "interesting" merely the stat bug fix.

ok.

Hmmm.

SirVimes, you saved another chef.

I was sitting here tonight, staring at the tons and tons of resources that I have, and thinking about putting up a post for an auction of them. (Well, ok, it's dwindled a bit, so it's no longer "tons and tons," but still, a lot.) I was gonna get rid of all my harvestors, take down my vendors after a bit, and say goodbye to even artisan ...

But if you say it's going to get interesting, it's going to get interesting. I'm sticking around.

Now where am I going to get the other skillpoints to become a master pistoleer?

speaking of auctions, I bought some domesticated rice off the bazaar, 4k units for only 2k and it was over 900 on both oq and pe, talk about a steal! I bought out every auction they had.

Well, SOE has until the 28th to show some progress for this chef.

To quote my older brother (who got me into this game), younger brother (whom I got into the game) and roommate, "There are way better games out right now to waste time with this one"

As the only one of the 4 of us left, my ticket is punched as well. I go bye bye on the 28th, may be back Febuary for a one timecheck, but going by their current track record, it will be as dismal then as it is now.

And for me it's not just a chef thing, it's the overall package...good luck

Dammit, Vimes, stop dropping all these hints! You're making me giddy, and I think you're starting to melt my cynicism
