I am working my way up the chef ladder right now. I am currently 1/0/2/4. I am wondering, what kind of prices do you guys get for your crates of Tat Sunburns, Brandy Wine, Vegash, or any other popular item? I am wanting to start selling stuff either individually or by the crate, but I want to have competitive prices so as not to dilute the market. The prices on the price guide seemed a bit high to me (although i liked them) . I am having a good time with the profession so far....i am curious what exactly the "poisoning" bug is? I have tried to experiment with my items to see, and it looks like to me if you try to take more than one item, it doesnt put your stats back at the right upper limits....am i correct? Any info would be appreciated!

My reply won't be of any use to you, since I haven't yet worked my way to Novice yet. Just wanted to give you a shout. I have been grinding slowly, and I let all the bugs for our profession bum me out. So I really haven't been trying too hard to get there until I can see some changes / fixes come our way. After I got really disgusted, I took my focus off of Master and now I am only trying to get to Mixology II for the Tat-Burn. I have shifted most of my efforts to leveling my medical skills. I am currently Novice Doctor, but may shift to Combat Medic. I have only met two other chefs on Bria in my experience, although there is evidence of others. I would estimate about 5-10 at most on our server. I beleive your explanation of the buff bug is overall correct. I sure am glad you are enjoying it more than I am. I couldn't even give my food away at one point in the game. All playersseem to be intrested in are the "Uber-buffs" that doctors, and spices give them. Tatooine Sunburns are the only chef buff that most players even know by name. Give me a shout somtime.

I'm a Bria Chef, 2-0-4-3. I can't comment on the pricing of crates really, because I shut down my factory long ago when the poison bug hit and I couldn't afford to keep it running. But I love my bar so I still keep my vendor stocked with single stacks. For a while there, a week or so ago, I was selling pretty well, a few here and there. But lately I haven't been able to move any product so I've found myself lowering my prices on everything except Sunburns, which I sell at 500 a charge.

Thank you all for the responses. To be honest, i was going to be a Chef when i first started out, but i could not bring myself to do the grinding that it would take. Then i got the holocron that told me to be Master Chef, so i thought "what the heck?" Now, since i am putting in the effort i am going to remain a chef as i initially intended and dump from my pikeman status (which i REALLY don't want to do) to work on any second holocron suggestions. I am selling stuff too cheap i think, but i am just kind of trying to get my name out there until i can get to master and have a full arsenal of food/drink to offer....then i guess i will just have to sell for what i can get.
