Guys and Gals,

Please have a little bit more patience and keep with us here. Things are going to be getting very interesting really soon. Interesting in a good or bad way, I don't know, but deffinitely interesting. Right now is a very good time to be following these chef boards.

So, just stay with us for a bit longer.

Ackowledgement from the devs made my day. My patience has been restored. I will stick around to see IF andWHEN andHOW they are going to fix the profession and I even think I shall start crafting again.

Been waiting, and I'm still patient. I'm still playing, but I've also been playing other games, so SWG doesn't get lame and un-nerving at times.

SirVimes, perhaps it would be a good idea to compile a list of what we chefs think are "good ideas" for the dev team into 1 thread/post, that way we can all see/comment on the ideas, hammer out the finer points, and really leave the devs with as few excuses as possible (that way theres no way they can say all we did was rant...like TH did with the buff bug post he made.)

Dsabre, we have posted a thread on what we think are good ideas, broken ideas, things we are needing (milk), and many other assorted ideas, as well. We're just waiting for responses now.

The Dev Tracker isn't working correctly and I think I missed the Dev Posts you guys are talking about. Anyone have a link?

My guess is the correspondants got some information from the devs, but they can't divulgedetails until things are more finalized. I'll bet once this next big patch gets out, we'll be hearing more about the proposed changes.

If I'm remembering correctly the person whom the leader ordered to "Stay on target" was blown to bits by an imperial tie fighter...

(You aren't trying to get us burned are you?)

Anyway, let's hope the devs show some actual action this time rather than just proclaiming that they will. Actions speak louder than words and all that.

true, but there were additional ideas posted in subsequent posts to that thread...and I think a few other issues. I know SirVimes has defended TH, and that its not entirely TH's fault, but it might be good if SirVimes could maybe recompile a list of just the improvement ideas...no bugs, and things related to other professions (sorry no chef hats). I only think SirVimes should do it since his name sticks out in bold on the forums, and since he's also the correspondent, TH might actually read it...as opposed to all of us "unhelpful ranters" as TH called us in his buff bug post (I'm not the only one who was/is more than a little upset at the way TH says things).

I think we all need to be made correspondents again so we can see what SirVimes is talking about.

Is there something you are dying to tell us but can't, SirVimes? If so...throw a /wink into a message somewhere. I'm sticking with this profession until I leave SWG or a holocron tells me to master BH, after which I'm coming irght back. Are chefs going to get free holocrons or something to compensate for the past few..umm..stuff happening since the game went live? (jk)

Com'on already! Spill the beans! Not high quality beans though...need those!

D'oh!Why would they want to give us holocrons that tell us to master something different? Those of us still around have "proven our loyalty" to this class. Now, perhaps we'll see how that loyalty is rewarded, eh?

(For the record, I'm not so happy to realize that the mechanic for opening the FSCS is to keep swapping professions. It doesn't make for a very stable character concept, and you've got people who don't care about playing a chef having to play our profession. But then, I have many counts against me: I'm a casual gamer, I play an artisan {{though I moved to a fighting class on another serverfor variety}}, and I come from a roleplaying background.)

Make that buffin' magic happen! And make it happen soon!
