Chef Archive

Hey guys, I'm grinding chef right now. Did Wastril Bread up to mixology II and now wanted to switch over to Ithorian Mist. Only problem is I can't seem to find anyone selling corn. When you guys did chef did you harvest your own corn or were you able to find a supplier.

I'm on Ahazi server so if anyone has any they could sell me, please post here.

Chef flora = Do it yourself.

Unfortunately, no one specializes in the floras that Chefs use, because the Doctor market is so much bigger. People would rather mine stuff they could sell for 10cpu then stuff we would buy for 3cpu. If you cant (or dont want) to do it yourself, then you will have to get a supplier. Your best bet is a PA member if you can, or expect yo pay a lot for your flora.

I guess it all depends on which server you are on. I was able to snag almost 30k of corn off the bazaar while my 3 large Flora harvestors chug away at harvesting more.

This is my 19th profession and before starting it, I pre-empted the facilitation and material aquisition to make sure I have the resources needed before starting the grind.

I have taken the time to learn along the way while grinding each profession to try and know more about what the benefits of said profession are.

I have 75 or 100k of it on Dantoine on Bloodfin. So i know it exists.

I am on tempest server, but usually put 10-20% of what I harvest for myself up for sale at no more than 3cc, plus the mayor's tax. This includes corn, wheat & water. (steel, copper, gas, etc...)

Im on ahazi and find corn a lot. Im gonna put a 13 rate flora onto corn prolly in 1-2 days.. If you need corn, email undinism in the game. Im an up and coming chef.. cost me a heap for 13 rate flora but PHWOAR, 30K+ I think anyway in 2 days (maybe I added the wheat with some small amount) but you can get a LOT if you put heavy rates down.. Luckily I have found corn within a short time I survey each time..

Anything to help out *true* up and coming chefs

I only harvest corn if OQ and PE are in the 900s...not worth running the harvesters on it otherwise...

Sorry, the only corn that masters keepis generally very high oq. You will likely need to contract out the corn.

Hm..I'm not on Ahazi, but I don't think it's all that likely - being Master in 2 crafting professions, I've had to streamline my inventory quite a bit..and that means chucking out everything I won't miss the next day. I haven't used corn since hitting Master Chef!
