Flameout is a drink buff for Health, IT DOES NOT CURE FIRE DoT.

The end.

My best guess is that the health buff from flameout increases the HAM bar so far, it looks like they've stopped taking damage. The DoT remains.

One brave chef duelled a commando then drank a Flameoutfor this information.

Now, since "reduction of DoT duration" is an ability of Dustcrepes (an artisan food) after the chef update, it wouldn't surprise me if DoT removal (or at least a major time reduction) got included in the chef food/drinks, and Flameout would be a prime suspect to receive that ability by the name alone.

I've personally tested it, it does NOT put out the flame. In fact, flame appears to last longer with the more HP's you have. Unbuffed I'd burn for around 35 seconds. With Flameout I'd burn for a minute or a little over. After the flameout buff wore off, I had a Master Doctor buff just my HP's and I burned for over a minute again. I tested it many times with my character and another guildmate being careful not to stack buffs.

On a side note though, with the Flameout buff it was much easier to keep myself healed up having all those extra HP's even if the burn lasted longer. Still worth it weight in gold imo.

Greetings all,

I had a customer recently ask to buy some crates of Flameout. He claimed (slight paraphrazing) "they deal with flame dots". I take this to mean that if you are on fire, drinking a Flameout will stop the fire damage.

I've never heard of such a thing and was wondering if anyone here could confirm this or point out the fellow doesn't know what he's talking about before I have someone be a guinea pig and let themselves get torched just to find out.

Thanks in advance for the info.
