With the popularity of Vasarian Brandy, I've decided to start theChef profession and see what I can do to make the highest possible quality of Brandy I can. Upon embarking on this task, I've ran into a few bumps in the road and needless to say, I could use some help from the experts.
1.) My first question is about Alcohol. Obviously, it's a required ingredient for making Brandy. What I'm curious to know is if the quality of the resource (cereal) to make Alcohol ultimately effects the outcome of the Brandy? Should I just harvest ANY cereal or should I be looking forhigh stats (Flavor, PE, OQ, DR) in the cereal? I want to make only the absolutely best Brandy I can. How important does the Alcohol play a factor in the final product?
2.) How about containers? Does the quality of a container have any impact on the Brandy itself?
3.) Speaking of containers - what is the most viable option? I see Brandy in "bottles" of 18 usually. I'd like to stay in that area. Should I be using Large Glasses, Casks, or Barrels? I read somewhere that Barrels are bugged and don't work any better than small glasses. Is this true and what should I be using?
4.) It seems that "tissues" (Light, Medium, Heavy) would help the final product immensely. One thing I'm not clear on is the necessity for a "Bio Engineer". Do I need to be a Bio Engineer to make them? If so, are tissues something I should pursue in making high-quality Brandy?
5.) Is there any pattern to picking out certain high quality fruits and berries for Brandy? To be more specific, instead of surveying on every single planet for the best cereal or fruit, are there certain resource types I should be looking for?
I know it's a lot of questions and I'm sure many of them have already been answered, but if anyone can help me get started with these, it would be very helpful to me. Thanks in advance!

1) No
2) No
3) Quality Doesnt Matter, Barrels are broken, everyone is using casks ( multiplier of 3 )
4) The BE Tissues are made by ( or you can have a schematic made by ) a Bio-Engineer - you or him can run it through any food and chem factory.
5) SWGCraft.com - resources.. we love you

1 + 2: Components (alcohol or containers) quality do not matter. Use the crappest resources you can for these
3: At moment, for expensive things (i.e drink with BE Additives, use casks if you can afford the gemstones + trim) unless barrels get fixed and they provide a nice big multiplier (they are bugged and only do 1X at present)
4: No, you can get a Bio Engineer to make the schematic for you (if you wish) for the BE additives and you can make these yourself. But the thing is, no matter who makes the BE additives, you have to convert them into FOOD ADDITIVES by adding water and running a factory load on it.
5: Check out www.swgcraft.com for resources with the best stats for what you require (current resources). It is a very handy site. Also use this to see what stats are useful for your food/drink : http://home.comcast.net/~sciguyco/swg/FoodChart.htm (brandy being)
DR 75%, OQ 25% Filling
Fla 66%, OQ 33% Flavour
PE 66%, OQ 33% Nutrition (generally the most sought after buff to heighten for Brandy)
DR 25%, PE 75% Quantity
Hope this helps

Btw, im Master chef, but im still getting uber resources so i can make plenty of crates and never get my vendor empty.. But i getting normal berrys and fruits... But in the schematic it says "Tulusian berrys and Tulsian Fruits"!!! I'm afraid that this will change after this patch and all the resources that i have stock it up will not work... I probably have 1.4mil of berry and also 1.4mil of fruits... Really nice ones... So my question is that if anyone know if the schematic for Vasarian Brandy will change and just will accept talus fruits and berrys?
Thanks

There is TONS more to this profession than Brandy. Yes its good, but try focusing on some other excellent foods and drinks. If you ask people what they want, what stats they are hurting the most, you can find out a great deal about your clients. Some might need Swirls, instead of healing their action with a high mind.
