It looks like some very nice changes are being pushed onto the Test Center today. Of particular note for Swordsmen:
- Added the reinforcement core as a required component to gaderiffi baton, stun baton, two-handed axe, and power hammer. The addition of the component will enable the armorsmith [sic]to impart component bonuses on these items (making them more in line with other weapons).
- Decreased two handed melee move costs
- Increased movement accuracy penalties/defensive bonuses

You can still spam area attacks, you just can't keep them all prone.
Looks like the Power Hammer is getting increased. I guess I won't complain, even though it had uses before. That said, it's very frustrating to have to keep buying new weapons every 2 weeks due to changes that are not retroactively applied to already existing weapons.
...just to complete the list:
- Slightly reduced the HAM costs on the gaderiffi baton, stun baton, two-handed axe, and power hammer to compensate for the extra HAM cost given by using the reinforcement core.
cause it kick ss already =)
and swordhas a prereq for expert twohand... PH = swordsman.. it should be better.
i'm just glad they boost the hammer instead of nerfing the sword =)... cna't wait for the result.. hope its not a measly 10 HAM lower.. or 5 damage higher (10 ham loower = 96 health cost? lol)
2handed axe... hammer... Why not swords?
Swords already have the option of being built with an advanced component.
