Thread: Stomach Fill Decay Rate?

I'm trying to expirement my foods so that customers can use them one after another to keep the buff going forever if they wanted. I don't know how long it takes for the fill of one's stomach to decay though. Like once someone is full, how long does it take for it to become "unfull" enough for them to take another serving of the food. I'm sure this is common knowledge for most of you, but I wasn't able to find the exact statistic of the rate your stomach "digests" and has more room for more food. Anyone who does know this, please let me know. Thanks.

It is supppose to be 30 minutes for the stomach to completely empty. It reality, due to a bug, it takes between 40 and 45 minutes.

The stomach empties gradually. If it did take 30 minutes, then after 10 minutes it would be 33% empty. After 15 minutes, it would be 50% empty.

This is a very serious issue. Have we gotten any kind of feedback from the devs about a fix, and are you sure they even know about it? I'm surprised people aren't making more of a fuss about it. To me this is the #1 bug in the whole game, regardless of professions and this affects everyone, not just chefs.

I'd also like to see your stomach empty after dying. That is worse than the digesting issue.

Very serious issue? Come on, give me a break. It seems to be intended at 45 minutes. There are no food that can be taken continuously to my knowledge, the only serious problem I see is that people refuse to accept a 45minute stomach empty

Well, the 45m stomach isn't bad, the problem is this:

  • Player Stomach: The stomach meters for food and drink now decay over a period of 30 minutes. Each food item takes up a % of stomach space that may be determined by examining the item.

(emphasis mine). From the Publish 6 Patch notes. We haven't gotten any response on whether the currently seen 45m is a bug or the 30m note is a typo (or left over from a previous design that was later tweaked to 45m). If it is a bug, I think customers would see it as a serious issue, since it's taking 150% as long to digest as it should. A shorter digestion time means less down time with short duration foods, and more potential stacking of long-duration foods.

Of course, those same patch notes have this:

  • Increased the bonus given from using a cask or a barrel.

(again, emphasis mine). I shudder to think what the quantity multiplier barrels gave before that fix.

I'd agree with you if it wasn't actually in the patch notes as 30 minutes.

Stomach filling went through A LOT of balancing on TC to get it to 30 minutes.

I'm not entirely surewhy stomach filling and thefact that barrels are not working has not beenfixed in the TC notes for Publish 7.

SirVimes, didn't the Devs "promise" us tweaking after the revamp? Wasn't it actually part of the agreement with the community given the number of bugs and balance issues that were KNOWN upon release?
