question for all you crafters, one of my friends ask me and id love to know too, Re "City's with Research Centre Status", let me get this correct, if im a resident of a research centre the percentage chance on getting an amazing success increases, ok, so what about if im not a resident but I take my droid with me (that has a food crafting station built into it) to a research city, would I get the same benefits as a resident? or do I have to be a resident to actually get the benefit.

Also my crafting station has +45% eff in my house , what does the food crafting station built into a droid have?

The devs have gone on record as stating that the crafting stations in droids have a "neutral" effect on crafting. As I understand it, that means that there is no bonus and no penalty associated with crafting with your droid. In theory, crafting with your +45% eff crafting station in your house should produce better results overall than crafting with your droid.

In practice, I think most of us who craft all the time have seen little or no impact from the quality of either the crafting station or the crafting tool used to craft, which is why we've plagued the devs with the still unanswered question of just how much effect that +45 is supposed to have.

That said, when I have the opportunity to use a high quality crafting station in a research center to make my schematics, I take advantage of it. I also use Bespin Port and Pyrollian Cake. Does it help? I *think* so -- but I don't have any statistical evidence to support that.
