Hey all,
I'm new to the Chef profession and am enjoying it very much so far. I was wondering if i could get some advice on pricing. Albeit I'm on Bria, and the economy is quite different server-to-server, i would still like other Chef's opinions.
My current run is:
Quantity: 6
Filling: 38
Focus/Willpower: +703 11m 12s
I've had people tell me 100k per crate, and others tell me 250k per crate (which i thought was rather high)
Any advice is greatly appreciated

I do 150k/crate, but ya need to bring the filling down to make ur canapes sell. Ya need to bring it down to 33 filling. Though whenever I make food and dont get what I want for a schematic I sell the bad experiment for cheap on my vendors. Makes for great single use that I price for noobs uses.

I have two different types of Canape...One is about 600 with 33 fil, the other 741 with 38 fill. I sell WAY more of the higher filling, higher buff version than I do with the 33 fill one.
All are 180k a crate.

My typical Canape is 33 filling, 620 buff 13 minute duration and I sell it for 90k per crate. My chef is on the Valcyn server though, and from what I have seen we tend to be a cheaper server in most cases. A fellow guildmate of mine (also a chef) sells a simailr quality for 120k per crate.

My last run of canape was +683 / 33% / 11.5m / 7use and I charged 150K per crate of 25. I am on Shadowfire. That price was lower than most, especially for stats like that...

On my server, people love my canape for PVP. My canape that I've been running is
722 power/9:54 duration/33 filling
I can't keep it in stock even at 300k/crate. It will flow out. I've lowered it some and gone back up from time to time, but depending on your clientele, if you treat your customers right, you will sell a lot.

good god man, those are unbelieveable stats. Congrats! and sell it for 500k a crate. Thats like....20 million credits revenue per full run, which is decent

I just made a schem for 34 filling, 9:54 duration 716 Foc Will, 7 uses. Will sell it at 160k a crate. It will move QUICK.
I know its not 33 fill, but when I got 5 amazings on Nutrition I could not turn it down
at 34 filling you will NOT be able to eat 3 at once, but you will be able to eat a 3rd in about 2 mins.
What drives me nuts about this Canape is that if I had gotten 1 amazing on filling it would be 33/716/9:54/7....and that I've only got enough of the carbo's to make like 200 of them

My canape is 703 for 9min20sec with 33 fill 6 uses and it sells like mad. I only charge 125k a crate and it seems to work fine for me. This was with 11 point chef, now Im 12 ponts, but havn't got to try the 12 point version yet.

man on Bloodfin if your canape isn't 33%/720+/9:30+, you can't sell it for 150k a crate. we've just got too many great chefs i guess.

I stock 2 different versions, both at 150k/crate. This is an average price for cnape on Intrepid.
1. +722 for 10 min, 16 sec, 33 filliing
2. +746 for 11 min,46 sec, 38 filling

I do the 33% version of food, but my best seller and the one I get the most compliments on is my long duration canape, usually around 650ish and 15m with 40% fill. You can do 3 all at once, but really that is over kill. The key is to substain the buff rather than just have a sickly high buff for 10m then become useless for the next 30m.
I charge 100k a crate.

Ummm.... maybe my math is off but... if the filling is 40%... HOW can you have 3 at a time?? 40+40+40 = 120% filling?? Hehehe... you guys on Starsider must have some ELASTIC stomachs!!
