Alright, when making alcohol and Bio components I don't see any experimentation stats. So does the quality of flora or water count? I'm guessing no, but want to be sure before i set my harvestors on a spawn. thanks

You're correct, quality of ingredients for subcomponents such as alcohol, additive, carbosyrup, dough, bantha butter etc have no effect on finaly stats/outcome.

You just can't. Its not a question of whether to do it or not. The game doesn't allow you to experiment on pieces that don't get affected or won't affect the final product.

There are a few exceptions were a component in a food is actually another food. The stats on the food used for a component follows the same rules as alchol and dough. NOTHING transfers to the final food and it doesn't affect the final stats at all.
