Someone said this food can make you burstrun for a long time or burstrun more often... but on the chart (http://www.gamekast.com/swg/foodtables.html) It says "BurstRun HAM Reduction"...

How does it work(The Food itself.. what's the exact effecT?)

If you get the Recovery decrease (flavor) up to over 90 you will be able to burst run without getting tired. However you will need to get the flavor additive (Multisaccharide tetramate) to make that bonus.

Parwan has two effects: the HAM cost reduction (a percentage amount, appears to be capped at 90% reduction) and a recovery time reduction. When you do a normal burst run, the burst lasts 1 minute and then you're tired for 9m. Parwan's recovery bonus calculates off of the full 10m total, so a "recovery bonus: 90" nutricake would cut 9m out of the 10, allowing you to burst run immediately after the first one wears off.

Eating the food causes you to immediately burst, you can't "store" the effect like with other triggered foods.

I usually get the recovery bonus above 90 and then thefilling to 25. So starting with an empty stomach you could burst run 4 times using the food, then do a normal burst run after that, giving you a total of 5m of burst run speed. Without a nutrition additive or much experimentation, the HAM cost reduction is usually around the mid-50s.

Aye, i already make this on chimaera. You need a medium flavour additive which is uber expensive due to its very high milk useage. I get it to 97% and you get the "you are no longer tired" message about 10-15 seconds before the burst run wears off enabling you to whack another one straight away, it has a 27 filling so you have to be careful what your food filling is if you plan to depend on it.

Just FYI, I'm pretty sure you only need to get it to 90% time reduction (although I haven't tested for a month or so). That should give the "you are no longer tired" just before the burst run wears out. That should give you enough spare experimentation points to get the filling to 25.

I can see certain scenarios in combat where a greater reduction could be welcome. There are (as I understand it) various states which will 'cancel' your burstrun if applied to you. So, if someone were to stick a dizzy on you, or a posture down,to stop you getting away, the 97% reduction would enable you to start your next run sooner.

That said, it's a pretty specific scenario, and I'd agree that 90% is the optimum, with the remainder of the experimentation going on filling

Any changes on this? I has been nearly a month since I seen a post on this and I am wondering if anyone has noticed any changes in the 90% effect needed or any other changes.

Thanks
