Hi all.. i'm rather interested in grinding chef, before i start, i'd like to ask one or two things. materials atm, are they rare or currently spawning? i've been a doctor for sometime and alot, and i mean alot of the resources needed have been unavailable for some time. Another question is, what would be the best things to make to grind my way though?

Well whats spawning depends on your server but for the most part, the resources are generic, its the quality of the resource you will have to watch out for. As far as grinding or not that depends on your play style, though it may be harder to sell things until you get to Master.

It really fun profession. Get yourself couple flora harvesters and look on enactive.com for nice floras. Also offer to make food for guild if you in one and you will be swamped with resources if no other chefs in guild

To gain the gain the best foods a chef can make as master, do you need any other prof materials? i've heard you need some goods of BE's nutrients i think it was.

Ahh right, are they expensive? .. reason im askin is basically because im doing chec to stockpile on food for personal use not to make a profit, if costs just as much to grind, i'll end up buying instead.

Grinding, depending on what your doing with the grind materials, can be expensive. The FAQ's give a resource list of what you need. If your doing it for yourself, I wouldn't recomend it as there are easier ways to save a buck in SWG.
As far as BE, it all depends on hos many are on your server and how busy they are. I know myself, I don't see many which is why I am Mastering that as well. And without BE addatives, you won't get the results your looking for.
