Thread: New Chef Chart Idea.

Greetings,
I had an idea for a simple chart. something that I know would help me, and should help alot of other Chef's. I propose to create a chart with food stat levels of what people think is the absolute minimum for selling foods, what is god quality, and what is an uber stat. I think this could take a while to produce, but I think it will help. We could also do a cross profesion pole to verify the results. It would be nice to see what us as a community feels food should be to be considered in a certain quality bracket.
I propose to do this a few items at a time. Maybee by ise group. Domestic Arts 1, then another message with DA 2.
the chart in my opinion would include the food name, popularity (Scale from 1-10), minimum stat, average stat, and uber stat). This will help new chefs with a goal to achieve and also help adjust server specific prices.
What do you all think?

Visual Basics? I don't follow what you mean by doing it in there. I was thinking more of Excell.

I think it's a great idea. I would like to suggest having two columns forstats though. One for PvE and one for PvP.W knowour PvE and PvP brandy are two totally different creations. This type of distinction wouldn't apply to all foods/drinks, but it would be nice to make the distinction for those foods in which it does....
Just a thought....

There will be a few obstacles to overcome with this. Mainly dealing with how certain people look at food. Some might want +450 brandy with low duration and some might want +410 with 45 minutes.
You also have the issue of price. I would prefer +420 45 minutes. I would settle for +400 45 minutes. If I was in a very big hurry to get to a hunt I would settle for any brandy. My minimum would be 350 30 minutes. I would never normally buy that, but in certain cases I would.
Canape would be a hard one as well. Some care about 33 filling, other don't.
I still think a chart would be useful, I just know there is probably a reason why something like it hasn't been made before. There is no clear best brandy.

So if we were to do something like this it would have the following columns:
Food Name
Popularity (number scale of 1-10)
Base sellable stats
Average Stats
Uber Stats.
the last three stats will have two rows, one for PVE and one for PVP.
If this sounds good, will everyone help put this together?

Well, to reply to Numen, I wouldn't put price. Just stats and popularity. Price is server specific and the stats being what level they are, someone can price accordingly.

I will help. Although I am limited in the number of items I am actually familiar with as I mainly stick to special orders from guild mates for the most popular foods.
