I have recently come back to the game. and have found my master doc/ master cm to be not as fun to play.So after speaking with members of my guild i was told that chef and armorsmith was a good way to make some money.I was never one to sit and sell buffs or actually take the time to create buffs but if i needed money it was easy to get.

So i would like some input as to what are the best sellers. and what types of resources are mostly used.

And on a side note: if i am a master of two proffs and i use the /respec thing. can i master two different proffs?

There are several threads within the first few pages about what sells post-CU. I'd recommend browsing over as many posts as you can, and writing all of those items down, as the more you read, the more familiar you become with the profession and the mental state of those of us who chose it (Lol, KIDDING, everyone). In all seriousness, have a look around. You'll get a better idea by reading than you will with us spoon feeding it because it truly takes a while to absorb, although as a doc/cm, I'm sure you've already done your fair share of crafting to be at least a little familiar with the process.

For the crafters, there's a site called SWG Craft that's very helpful in terms of resource listings and things. So, first order of business is to investigate what's popular at the moment, and then head to Swg Craft to look up the resources. They're much more varied than they used to be due to the wider range of foods we're making, as opposed to the standard brandy, ahrisa, canape schpiel. Another GREAT way to find out what's selling sell, especially specific to your server, is to run out and investigate all the chef vendors across the galaxy. This is how I started. I wrote down every item I saw, it's price, and it's location. Then I compared everything and started in on my own menu. It takes a little time, but it'll give you a really accurate picture of what you need to be doing on your server. Some of your galactic neighbors won't be selling or carrying the same items as folks in your neck of the woods do because there are different levels of education/awareness of how foods/drinks are currently working from server to server.

As far as the respec goes, go ahead and type /respec. You can play around with your template there by double clicking skills you already have and replacing them with the skills you're thinking of picking up. As long as you don't hit 'ok', you'll be fine. When you're done fidgiting with the template, you can just hit 'cancel' and you'll still have the exact template you had before starting. I'd recommend playing around with it a few times to be sure you're getting all the skills you need/want.

My menu consists of

Mandalorian Wine

Breath Of Heaven

Vasarian Brandy

Pikatta Pie

Blob Candy

Bofa Treat

Kiwik Clusjo Swirl

Veghash

Vegeparisine

Vagnerian Canape

Ruby Bliel

Elshandruu Pica Thundercloud

Crispic

Now this is not the most comprehensive menu out there but it shoudl cover all the basics and keep you busy enough until you can start making other food/drinks. With regard to resources I generally try to make sure I have a bit of everything as each resource is used for something although I seem to use more wheat and fruit than anything else...

Just FYI, browse through the pages manually. The actual forum search function is borked beyond belief at the moment. Generally, the same questions are asked over and over again every few days, and then the cycle continues, so you'll find most of what you need to know within a week or two's threads.

Good luck!
