I'm a jedi on Eclipse that wants to procure both these items in advance of producing new lightsabers. Despite visiting 15 or so advertised chef vendors in several different cities, I had no luck finding either of these items. Questions:
- Are these items either rare or not in demand?
- Assuming I can find a Chef on Eclipse to make these for me, what would be a fair price? (Im looking for ballpark, not specifics)
- Given current resources, what are typical effectiveness values
Thanks in advance ![]()

Bespin port : usually 23experimentation bonus which runs 150k - 200k * a full crate
Pyollian Cake : usually 15assembly bonus which is a little cheaper 125k -175k * a full crate
*Radiant prices
The bespin port is a pain to craft because it takes several identical alcohols per which makes for an incomplete run.The pyollian cake is a little easier to make but requires sweet bread mix which is a different component from the other products. Check the galaxy search on the bazaar under factory crates. Will be tons to sort through but you will eventually find some.

Another PITA with Bespin is that it specifically requires Tatooinian flora resources, so a chef has fewer options to find good ingredients.
The simplest way to find some is to go to "vendor search" on the bazaar, go to misc -> factory crates -> bespin port, and search "entire galaxy". This will bring up any port (even if it's been renamed) for sale on your server.

Supposed to but how can one really tell other than to comparewhen they don't use it. I have never had a failure while on them so I would have to vote yes. Cause without I get them quite frequently.

I notice a marked increase in my amazing successes when experimenting and using port. I've only reinroduced it into the experimenting process recently, and I know for certain that all the times I wasn't using it were definitely harder to get the amazings.
I'm actually really looking forward to having my FS expermentation branch so I can do away with drinking up all of my port stock, lol.

I just finished up my FS experimentation branch (thank God for 2x XP) doing the thak grind and will probably still use port occassionally for my big sellers or large runs just so I can get to double/triple amazings faster.

I'll be trying that too, of course, but I was reading a post where someone mentioned that having the FS branch and using port almost seemed to cancel out the positive effects. There's no way to know for sure, but I get very superstitious about my crafting, so I'll probably give each way a bunch of tries and see which "feels better".

i stopped making pyollian cake around the time that crafters stopped losing the resources on a failed assembly attempt, cant remember what patch it was but it was a good while ago now, i found that just nobody wanted to buy it after that patch making it just another worthless food schematic in a long list of others.

I actually still sell quite a bit of pyollian. I don't really think it's ignorance with people not knowing they can't fail...it's usually wpsmiths/armosmiths and as far as I know a better assembly does help those professions.
