Thread: Ranged and Melee Def foods

People that pvp a lot that use my vege & pica say they work great so I don't know what to tell ya. ![]()
I ran a test with two jedi Master Lightsaber/Master Defenders. The one jedi began to hit with a default attack about 5 times then the victim took a vegeparsine. NO DIFFERENCE. He hit every time and for the same amount. Tried this twice with same results. I did however try it in PVE and noticed more misses. Might just be that in PVE the mobs have a horribleaccuracythat it was able to work. I was not attacking elite mobs so have no idea if that would make a difference, just level 80 bols. Need some confirmation on this before it can be set in stone though.

According to the what the Dev in charge of the Cu stated, veg and thundercloud do not reduce damage but the defense mods are added into the numbers of the hit/miss ratio.
ive upset a few peeps about this on eclipse and if this is true what the devs have said then theses foods need to be called dodge and not melee/range defence

Then explain these test results then you can obviously see there is a damage reduction per hit....not misses
WWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW
just tested ingame with vegaparsine. fighting level 63 brackerset was taking 93 points of damage. After eating 101 vega i was still taking 93. I then unequip my saber then re-equip it and was taking only 83 damage. So not much of a huge amount of reduction but the trick it to unequip/re-equip...kinda like the old days of after shuttling and having to re-equip PSG's.
vegeparsine sells very well for me - PvPers use all the time and say it works
i take on my mdef/mls toon just for the sake of it!
