I can't seem to tell how much charges I will end up with when I'm experimenting my foods. And I sure as heck can't seem to tell from the schematic. This is of course annoying when I want to name the food, because it would be nice to include charges in the name. Is there a way or trick to determine this?

In foods you can see the charges without problems. For drinks, I just make a prototype with the stats I want, note the results, and make an schematic with same stats and experimentation values into quantity bar.

When you exeriment there are blocks and a % bar beneath them. When you experiment on the blocks, the % goes up (more when amazing, less when you had a worse experiment) if you max out the quantiy % bar will the charges always be the same even though it sometimes take 4 points to max and sometimes 5-6??
Also, if you maxed out the % bar by doing some good experiments, but there are still blocks left so you could experiment more, is there a use to do so since the % bar is already maxed?

Your initial success at creating the food tell you how many experiment points you can put in it. Sometimes you will be very successful at first, and you will be able to put in all your experiment points. Sometimes you won't be successful on the assembly and you won't be able to put in all your points. other times you get a critical failure.
But the initial assembly success and the quality of the foods decides the maximum potential charges. So no, it won't be the same every time. There is a random factor that goes into it.
