Thread: Looking for good Fishak materials
Hello I just gained Master Chef last night and I was wandering if anyone knows any good locations to harvest good materials to make fishak with high Flavor, Potential Energy, and Overall Quality on the Radiant Server.
I need:
Fruit--Radioactive--Reactive Gas--Flora Food--Cereal--& Metal
Thank you
if you want you can send waypoints to Kidos on the Radiant server
Please don't think me rude, but these folks work darn hard running around trying to find the spots where these items have shifted to this week, not to mention that by the time you got to the location the resources could have moved. On top of that to request that they only be of the best quality seems to smack of not only laziness, but downright rudness.
Again, I apologize if I sound mean, but I may as well say I'm looking for someoneto make me a factory run of Fishak, you supply the resources and the schmatic, do the run, and I'll take it from there.
www.swgcraft.com is great for finding which planets have good resources. You can plug in the schematic percentages, and it'll even sort them for you based on quality.
I recommend using 44% PE, 33% OQ, and 22% Flavor for the fruit and cereal, rather than the 33/33/33 most schematics show. 44/33/22 seems to better correspond to the buff size. For the inorganics, just put 100 into OQ.
It won't give you waypoints, but should at least get you onto the right planet.
Now youre a master chef, grats. Time to learn that being a good one is not easy and you will need time and effort if you want to see a profit.
Well, unless you only want fast money, then just be a fishak maker, good money with not too much effort ![]()
Feel free to drop me mail in game (send it to syk'e). I'll be more than happy to offer tips and pointers...but also expecta very honest point of view (ie blunt). ![]()
Chef isn't hard, but it is time consuming, especially if you want to successfully satisfy customers...if you are in it just for the credits...make fishak like Samanta said...
Ive been a chef for over a week and have just started harvesting my first organics today. I finally found something with a 600+ rating on swgcenter.com (33,33,33 rating though). It is very hard but luckily I have made friends with fellow chefs and we are splitting up the work. We each cover two planets to survey and just share the information. Eventually we will hire a full time surveyor to get the information for us. Do not be afraid of other people in your profession. There are plenty of customers. Making friends will save alot of time and give you a much funner enviroment to play in. Also remember to update swgcraft.com for other people.
Good luck and hope everything goes well.
I'm one of the guys working with PKStang, it is very handy to get in touch with your fellow chefs. You can help each other out on alot of things. We are a community, think of it like one.

I agree. I am new chef. but I always tell others where I get the resoucres, and even give them the wp where I am harvesting. the resources are not limited when they are there, why keep the spot to yourself to just make resources more expensive? isn't resources already too expensive? If any group out here want to share food resources info, please let me know, I'd like to join.
I share my resource info with other chefs that I converse with regularly, not random people looking for me to tell them waypoints because they dropped survey.

I would have to agree. As much as I want to send Saitek an email asking for good locations, I just scour SWGCraft and check my crafting tool. ![]()
1 box from Master Chef. W00T! (Tell the Dr. "Yo" for me Saitek.) ![]()
Crap, I meant survey tool... (How can there be no edit button? Lame.)
