Is User XP given for items you craft? For example: someone eats something I make, do I get XP for that? I know that is how it used to be, just wondering if that still applies.

Does it work.....yes. Does it work well? No!

If you are standing next to the guy while he eats it you get the xp.

You also get UXP for eating your own food. I was on TC the other day, and used up my last bit of fruit on a few Wastrils in non-practice mode. Then while I was sampling for some more, I'd fill up on bread to help my stamina (sampling drains my character's action faster than mind). After finishing off a stack, I'd find myself 35xp richer.

UXP for food seems to be 50% of the original craft xp, as long as you're located close to whoever is eating your food.

UXP for eating your own ? That never used to work, must check that if Im not capped on xp

How it used to work is (not saying this is the case now)
You COULD get 50% UXP IF

The person eats the entire stack (tip: use rubbish resources for grindind = worse stack size, lower duration )

The person must be within 1.5km of you AND on the same subserver (each planet is made up of several servers)

BOTH of you must be online

The Wind must be blowing NorthSouthish and pigs flying past a blue moon

Even then you weren't guaranteed to get any UXP
