I have what is becoming a fairly large business now serving 3 city cantinas with 4 factories. I've been in business for quite some time now although I just made master a little over a week ago. Business is good, but it does take time for people to get to know your name and establish your customer base.

Sounds great!

What do you sell crate for? Im mostly interested in the popular items, such as Breath of Heaven. I don't want to overcharge, but I am realizing its quite a pain to make some of these items! Especially when I'm shelling out 150K for 15K units of some Lokian wheat!

I too have been a master for bout a week now... I stood in front of the Coronet starport and shouted for bout an hour with my location. I made about 200k in sales in about 5 hrs. It's definately a good business, but it's hard to keep quality up cause resources are sometimes hard to come by. There are definatley not alot of chef's out there. But good luck.

There is another discussion thread posted earlier today concerning pricing and some from past days/weeks, so i won't start another one here.

I will say this, if you choose to remain a chef, do it because you love it and want to take good care of your customers, not just to make a quick buck. The money will come if you treat your customers right and you'll have a long term steady income as people come back to you out of loyalty. I personally try to spend time in each of my cantinas and try to get to know some of my customers and greet them when they come in.

Having said that, your time is valuable and resources pricey. Price accordingly. 10 cpu is not uncommon for floras of high quality, but you can still make a profit at that.

I was the first Master Chef on Naritus.

There are atleast 10 Masters on Naritus at the moment.

I have 4 Locations on Tatooine, 3 on Coriellia, 2 on Lok, which is a group effort of me and 2 other Master Chefs. Business is booming and always has been.

However as Shiskussi as already mentioned, it can be a great deal of work to set up your business and name, and it is a very time consuming profession. I have 2 characters one of which harvests all of my resources and the other which is the Master Chef and is the producer. My Chef character is virtually a sole crafter at this point, as the profession doesn't allow me time to invest her into other avenues.

Pssst, putting a food advertisement on the chef forum is like Coke sending Pepsi an order sheet.

Congrats on making master, hope you like it enough to stick around. Maybe you can keep it long enough to check out the new food/drink recipes, that should make thing really interesting.

Another Naritus master chef here! For a couple months now. And I agree with Saitek, there is no time for anything else after factories, harvesters, and stocking vendors have been taken care of!!
