Thread: Food additives don't work?

I just did my first factory run for some micronutrient supplement. I used a schematic that a Master BE made for me. He put it in my factory, and I loaded the ingredients in and started it. I retrieved a couple dozen earlier this evening to make my first chef dish, blue milk.

Now, when I go to craftthe Blue Milk, it will not detect the additives in my inventory. Also when I try to drag an additive from my inventory to the ingredient slot in the crafting tool,it gives me the error: "That ingredient cannot be used in this slot" I re-logged, didn't help.

What's the deal? I can't make anything with the additives, so essentially I cant cook anything worthwhile. Any ideas?

Thanks!

You have to use the bio tissues in the light additives, then you add the additives into the food item. Not add the tissues into the food.

You have to make the Additives from the BE component. This is where it becomes a bit of a pain in the butt and truely an unnecessary step. Go to your food crafting tool. At the top are the schems for glasses casks etc and the additives. You need to use one of the BEcomponent to make the Food Additive. Once you do a fact run of THOSE then you can make the milk. Big pain in the butt but there you have it. Good Luck.
