From what I have read if a schematic can take a medium additive you can put a medium or light additive in to make the product. Mysituation is this I can make a maxed out light addtive with approx +60 bonus made with premium top end resources (read very expensive) or make a medium +60 with grinding resources (read considerably cheaper). Would a product that takes medium additves be the same if you put in a +60 light versus a +60 medium? I had a chef tell me that he would be willing to pay 1k per light additive and 2k per medium additive and didnt mention the bonus point quality he was looking for.

Well, a smart chef would check the additive stats, but maybe you got lucky.

From everything that I've seen, the bonus effect comes only from the effectiveness number on the tissue. Numbers posted here makes it look like the high end of one tissue is the minimum of the next higher size, so a larger tissue gives you a better starting point.

Just out of curiousity, does Milk count as creature food? How about seafood or crustacean? From some numbers posted here by budding milk maids, it looks like you can get 30-50 units of milk from a single creature if its big enough, so I would think that prices for milk might end up being lower than meat of a comparable quality.
