Thread: Any Thoughts on Pricing for the new foods?
I am basically charging the same as I used to (a per dose cost system based on resources)
The only change for me is adding in the cost for containers and BE additives when used.
Production cost for a crate of Vasarian Brandy using casks and 5cpu is 33750 credits (including trim at 150 per). For the steaks the production cost per crate is a whooping 5625 at 5cpu.
I'll probably start the non-BE Brandy at about 45-50k. I have steaks up for sale at 15k a crate right now and just realized that may be a bit expensive ![]()
Being an Architect my numbers might be a bit low in comparison though ![]()

I'm also going to cut my synthsteak prices, but they're selling like hotcakes at 50k a crate, seriously
O_o - and that is all I have to say about that ![]()
I agree with Bear's pricing on the Brandy.
Think of it this way. When used properly, a player who plays 4 hours a day and has a crate of Vasarian Brandy Casks (BE enhanced) can walk around for two+ weeks without EVER having less than +800 to all three mind stats. This should be VERY expensive stuff.
Now - apply similar logic to the Assembly Bonus cake item. If you were an armorsmith about to do a final combine on a piece of RIS armor, how much would you pay for an item that can give you a +14 bonus to assembly for that combine? I say 10k per use, considering you will sell that armor for 10 million.
when I can get the BE stuff, espically to double the buff effect I'm doubling my prices and then adding a bit more to make it a round number. I was able to get a sample BE additives pack from my BE friend and I know what to get now.
1k per dose with a BE additive is my minimum price.
