I put up an auction for 2144 units of wild milk on the starsider auctions forums and haven't gotten a single response. Is wild milk not as useful as domestic or something?
The stats aren't that great but I've read that bantha butter is not affected by stats?
I'm going to try and pick through one of the new chef foods guides for what takes milk, but if any of you would be kind enough to list them I'd greatly appreciate it.
-A confused milkman, who's seen one fambaa teet too many.
(also if you want this just tell me!)

It all depends on teh amount of chefs on your server, and the minimum price you are asking.
I see people charging anything from 50 to 6000cpu, and I wont pay anywhere near that personally.
The most I ever pay is 10cpu for anything

Well, I checked your thread (just out of curiousity, I'm on the wrong server). The problem is probably the stats. Food buff sizes are the first thing customers look at, and that depends on PE and OQ, which are pretty horrible on the milk you're offering.
And post-publish, you'll never see the crazy 10k cpu for milk again (thank god). Heck, since you don't even need hunting skills (just Exploration II), the stacks harvested are big, and there's no risk unless you milk an aggro mob that breaks your mask scent, milk might even end up being cheaper than meat.

I would be amazed if this ever happens. I tried milking out and I can collect 2-3 times more meat as milk in the same time. It is true that you don't need any combat skills to get milk though. I just don't see people just going out to milk animals.
I got 2kish milk in about an hour. Sorry, but that is still horrible. I thought meat was bad enough. At least with meat there is some joy in the combat aspect. Milking is more boring that grinding some crafting profession.
A few things though that would make it slightly better
1) Increase the range. You can't /follow and milk. You need to be closer than what follow does.
2) make it stack in your inventory.
However, even with milk being still somewhat rare, I won't pay more than 20cpu for very nice stuff. 10cpu for average. There are currently a lot of foods that I can stock on my vendor. There just doesn't seem to be a huge demand for many of the things that milk is in. Smugglers delight will be useful but it is currently broken.
