sure +10 attachments are rare, but they're definetly out there. with as much time and money as some people sink into this, why not go ahead and get 3 or 4 +10's instead of 2? is there some kind of experimentation cap? for that matter, why don't you see +13/14's in any profession? i don't think i've ever seen higher than a +12...

it caps at +25 and +2 points. I have +35 in tapes that I can wear and I still only get +2 points.

They may have been talking about artisan. I know humans can go to +13 I'm not sure about any other race I've never had the + skills to get them that high. This is the only crafting profession that can do this though.

Humans can actually go up to 14 I believe. +15 for being human and +25 in tapes.
All skill tapes are capped at +25. No matter how many you have on and what Ctrl-S says for your char only +25 can come from attachments. Due to experimentation needing +10 for each point, the cap actually becomes +20 for crafting exp points. The extra +5 might get more amazings(a theory going around) but it will do nothing for exp points. 12 points is the same as 12.5.
Skill tapes and BE cloths work together. So combine the bonus and your capped at +25. Food and squad leader bonuses stack on top of these and to my knowledge there are no caps on those. Just the hard caps on how good the food can be made.
