Hello all,
I am a Master CM who would like to begin crafting CM supplies for resale. I do however havea few questions before I begin, and if anyone could provide me with answers I would be very grateful.
1) I have heard that Bespin Port and some sort of cake provide experimentation bonuses. Can anyone provide me with the information on these foods/beverages, and what their impact is on the experimentation process?
2) I have heard that whether you use a droid, a stationary crafting station, or work in a Research Center effects your overall experimentation. I have also heard that not all crafting stations are created equal. Does anyone have any information on how these things impact the experimentation process?
3) I have heard that the CM experimentation modifier is hard capped at 100%. I know that this means CM experimentation attachments are useless to me. Does this also mean that food, crafting stations, and experimenting in a Research Center are useless as well? If these things do help, does anyone have information on what the total modifier could be?
Thank you in advance for your assistance.

CM Experimentation tapes are not useless, for every 10 pts gives you another experimentation point upto a max of +2 pts extra,
I was a 12pt Experimentation Master combat medic for a while, and those tapes do help a lot.
I know I am not a chef, but can clarify this one for you

1) Bespin Port improves your chances of a better "experimentation success". So say you experiment on one thing and you get "A good success", the Bespin Port can add say +11% to the chance of improving this. This may just be enough to push the good success to "A a very good success" or whatever.
2) A droid is standard (i believe) in its quality, and hence is generally easier to get a droid then to find a good crafting station. The best crafting stations are equivalent to a droid. A worse crafting station can decrease success rates (I believe.. im not sure about this one). A Research center improves your chance of a better success rate in the same way as Bespin Port. I think its bonus is +25. Someone else will need to confirm this value.
3) Im not sure about the CM modifier being hard capped. However, this DOESNT effect the port/research center bonuses etc. This is because they affect success rates NOT the number of experimentation points. I believe with a research center it improves success rates by +25. Combine this with Bespin Port of +11 quality, thats +36. So a 36% increase in success rate chances.
Think thats all correct, im sure if its not someone will correct me

People on my server spend millions for Combat Medicine Experimentation tapes, so I don't think you're hard capped at 10 points.

someone answered above about the port. pyrollian cake is a food, and it gives an assembly bonus, so that you get less chance of critical failures on assembly. i used it when i had master artisan for a little bit, when i made AV-21s, but i don't bother when i craft chef foods, since they don't use loot drop resources. maybe you'd want to eat it when you make schemas with spider venom and those kind of resource drops?
