Thread: Can't experiment or make schematics!!

HELP!!!
I am pretty new to Chef but I have always been a crafter. I can experiment and make schematics for Artisan stuff but nothing on Chef. I have a private Food crafting station in my house and a Probot droid with a Food crafting station. Neither of these allow me to experiment or draft schematics.
Things I have tried :
1) Moving the station to another room away from the other stations
2) Moving it to a differant house
3) Using a public station
4) Used my droid out away from ANYTHING
5) Logged on and off several times
6) Trained further up in the experimentation branch
7) Tried every food and component I have the resources for.
Any ideas what I can do to get this working? I need to make factory runs and can't produce the schematics!

Are you a using a Food and Chemical Crafting Tool? It's the only thing you didn't mention

when ive had this problem it was usually when i had my crafting tool in my inventory or if i was more than 15m away from the crafting staion but thats just me its kinda weird and even when i have pulled it out some times ill have to craft about 5 items befor the option for experimenting or making a schematinc option comes up.
i even tried changing titles not sure if that did anything but it started working after i did these things not sure whats the issue in your case....maybe this will help some...

I was using a Food and Chem tool.. LOL... that would have been embarrassing. I was finally able to make my schematics in front of a public station in Nashal. No experimenting but I could make schematics. It's just weird.
I am going to buy a new private station since I have had the one in my house for almost a year. Maybe through multiple patches it just doesn't work right.

It's fixed! A new private crafting station did the trick. Apparently the one from a year ago was bugged.
