Hello Chef's,

I am just about to pick up Novice Chefs. And just had a couple of questions.

1. What item is good to grind with?

2. How is this profession? Is it worth it?

3. Also do you chef's make any money?

I almost just skipped over this question, but what the heck, it's late afternoon and i have a couple moments.

Have you read through the FAQ posted above? It covers the first grind item as well as other tid-bits of information.Be willing to do a little research elseI wouldn't recommend being a Chef as it may become quite fustrating at times (grind, surveying, irrate customers, bugs.. oh wonderful bugs).

Like other craftsman, there are successful chefs and there are less successful ones. And like business, how well you do will depend on how you decide to play. Is it worthwhile? You need to quantify what you mean by worthwhile? In terms of credits? In terms of interaction? The class is what you make out of it.

Do I make money, sure I make money - I've made enough now that I don't care about making money anymore. My daily sales(were - pre-stack bug)enough for me to enjoy the game for the most part and not worry about cash. So I'm comfortable.

Do you want to be a zillionaire? Don't be a chef. Our margins aren't THAT good (yet).

Do you want to be famous and known throughout galaxy? You may be, but notoriety comes with play style more than your class.

Chef's have a very focused purpose (mechanics wise)in this game and it is to provide portable stat buffs. Make what you will out of it. I tend to roleplay an eccentric squid - suits my purposes and lets me get away with practically anything.

Thank you for the reply and the advice. As for the money, i dont wanna get hella rich just have enough of a income to enjoy the game.

I know the profession is pretty much broken but i belive that all of the other professions are too. But i'm willin to work through the hard ship as long as i know that being a Master Chef will pay off and fill my customers tummies. lol hahaha....

All in all if i can make a decent amount of profit in this profession i'll be happy.

Any other advice that you or anyone could proved me would be helpful.
