I figured out how all foods are getting bugged, (dont flame me if someone else posted this already) and I put in a /bug on it. If you have a fact crat of food in your inv and pull out a stack and eat 1,2,3 etc.. out of the stack and then log or even sometimes zone you will not be able to finish the stack. Figured I would post this just incase no one has already.

I have the bug with non factory crafted food as well. So basically you have to finish a whole stack before logging out or it becomes bugged?

Currently ANY stacks can be bugged, and the only fix is to drop the stack, target, /eat & pick up.

Highly annoying, and Vass posted on TC forums they knew about the issue, but inover a week, not a thing has been dome to fix it.

Okay, food stacks ARE still bugged. Guess the patch only released my stacks that were bugged prior, but the stacks continue to get bugged after the patch. Back to square 1....

So some people are still having this problem? I am on Radiant and as ofFriday night my stacks were ok again... no more bugged stacks. I had a sunburn and a ormachek that I could not eat the day before, butFriday night I was able to eat them as if they were never bugged.

yeah i found this out also. once you log all partially unused stacks are unusable.

What is meant by "zoning". I'm new to MMO's and didn't know of zones in SWG. Where are they (so I can avoid them).

My PA has confirmed this bug for me as well. It appears that if you use a food buff once, then travel to another planet, you cannot use it the second time (or, if you can use it, it has no effect - I am not sure which). One workaround that they found was that if you trade it to a person, and they trade it back, the item works again. Someone else above said that if you drop it on the ground, use the /eat command, and pick it up again, that works too. I cannot confirm either workaround, but it is something to try.

I think this could really be hurting your business. I have so many half stacks of food, and I don't want to buy any more. I have been going without using foods for the last week or so.

I have seen people selling the remainder of their stacks on bazaar for cheap *sigh* I know because I have looked to see what chef is selling theirsunburn so cheap and here it wassunburn made by ME that was being sold because evidently they were unable to finish the stack and didn't know the work around.

The theory about unfinished stacks when you log off being the cause of the stack bugis not exactly true.. that isn't the cause. it may be 'a' cause for some, but that has never been the cause for me. I can log off a dozen times and not have a food stack get bugged, but other times, one will get bugged if I take a shuttle, or hit one of those "Pause me for a minute leaf storm" zone linesbut other stacks will be fine. *shrug*

I have to say i'm pretty unhappy that over a week's gone by with no fix in sight. That workaround for /eat is not a good workaround -- you still lose a charge and with expensive things like Sunburns that really hurts the customer.

I'll try the trading thing and see if that helps, that's at least a less painful solution.

I'm still getting lots of sales every day, but I'm also getting lots of unhappy feedback from first-time food buyers, anda fewloyal customers too.

BTW, Another situation where this happens is when a player dies - one customer told me when he zoned to the cloning facility his food became bugged from then on.

I've had to deal with a lot of bugs since day 1, but this one really takes the cake (ha ha).
