Yeah I said it. We are so brokewe should get something. As it is putting down a 7 slot cantina is a voluntary nerf to a class that has been broken repeatedly.

ITS NOT A HARD PIECE OF CODE. Just change the hard coded 7 to 0.

Even then its just a building that looks cool. So what?

Now put in some free humanoid vendors for usso we can all untrain Novice Merchant and put the points somewhere uselful. Make them part of our class perks. Think of them as pets! MCH can have what is it now 3 pets? Why cant we have 2 vendors?

Make the food vendorcooks and talk when a customer orders or buys something. Put in a bartender that mixes drinks and yells "Bottoms Up!".

Put in a basement to the building so we can store our supplies and have a place to craft.

Do something for us. We chefs are so busy finding workarounds and trying to get our basic functionality working that we forget to think creatively.

I just can't believe things here sometimes. You hope and pray that something will appear in an upcoming patch that will at least give you something positive while you wallow in your pit of depsair, but it comes attached to so many more downs that I can't help but think nobody in SOE is trying to make this game better at all. Is this really one of those corporate schemes where the creaters want the product to fail so they can exercise some small-print contract option and golden-parachute to Honduras and live like kings? I just don't get it.

Honestly I think they take up 7 lots because the cantina was orginally intended for dancers and musicians who dont have to craft anything, there fore not needing their lots unless they are gathering materials to sell.

7 lots ?

Sod that, a medium house, coloured sign and some decoration will do the job just as well.

Yes the basement would be great.

I am already selling food in a cantina setup and decorated by en entrepreneurial dancer/tailor. She has over 20 vendors in the place by now and it looks amazing. I think its a large tatooine house she has.The place has a main floor, basement and upstairs!

If any of you want to check it out here are the coords:

Flurry, Tatooine, Bestine -488 -3717 (The Wet Spot Cantina)

Unless Chef Cantinas do more than ust look pretty then why would i put one down?

<confused and wonders why he even continues to post here>

you know, you probably can't even heal wounds in a player owned cantina like you can in a house... so use 7 lots to be nerfed... ok then.

Also, the tatooine house with the basement is a medium and great for cantinas (due to the sunk in foyer like area).

They will never make the Cantina's free, but..... Maybe they can just add lot points into the skil trees. Or just at the Master Chaf area. Although I'm sure that we would all like to get a cantina sooner then that.

It's not a bad idea at all to make Cantina's cheap (lot-wise) for chefs. All you have to do is add a little additional code so that you can't have more than one or two total to prevent you from placing cantina's everywhere.
