I have seen a few posts about it being fixed but the posters all said that it was fixed based on the buff doubling on two uses. Of course that is not the problem. The problem is when it wears off. Can someone please confirm if it is fixed so we can put this to rest once and for all? Thanks.

I started 2 chars on TC, using both my accounts, and gave the melon from one to the other. Melons bugged me after eating 2 , afraidd thats all I can test currently
