What makes the recipe better,

like it says in the window should i look for OQ, FL, PE ?

Or is Decay resistance still the main factor?

I think Decay resistance is still more important than Flavor.

And I think it makes absolutely no difference, at least until item decay on death is introduced, anyway. /shrug

What I mean is that Decay Resistance seems to impact the quality of what you make far greater than flavor does. Not that high decay resistance causes less decay on food.

Isn't Decay Resistance somewhat obsolete right now? Wasn't it for the gradual decay of items they had intentionally planned, but was never taken off of the items and such?

yeah thats what it is supposed to be for, but for some reason, I prefer to get resources with higher decay resistance than higher flavor, as flavor seems to have little impact and the resources I have with higher decay resistance work better.

Anyone actualy done testing wether or not high decay resist affects duration or quality or are these just "theories" I know for a fact decay resist affects buff duration for enhance packs

I've noticed the opposite, decay resist has no impact on buff amount or duration, but if I have a high flavor resource, I'll have a higher base duration and it will raise in higher incremements if I experiment on it vs. a low flavor resource. /shrug again.

Personaly I think it changes from recipe to recipe some like flavor, some like DR. Someone really should do some experments.....
