Thread: Shocking Tat Sunburn theroy

I was just writing up the abilities of all the various concoctions on a spreadsheet so I could reference what food had an effect on which stat, and have come to this conclusion:

There was a typo in the Tat Sunburn capability where the devs added an extra "0" to the plus buffs.

If you take that off, they are right in line with all other things at that level (although the buff would still be higher than similar buffs, but based on it having more components, I think it would be resonable).

What does this mean? If this is correct we can expect once the devs get around to "fixing" the chef profession will result in the buffs of Tat Sunburn to be reduced considerbly (like by 10X). This will bring it right in line with all the other buffs, and in line with the progression of the profession. I'm not saying this is good, just that I belive it to be the case.

...basically what we have as buffs for food and drink is as intended... and unfortunatley they're not much use. There are some great ideas on these boards. Hopefully one of them will be implemented.

I rather choose to think that the devs were pressed in completion of this game, and to give us measly chefs who already had nothing to offer something to sell, they added that zero to the end of our tat sunburns, so that we would at least have one thing to sell.

This isn't a signature, I just type this message after every post I create.

I've had the same thought a few times. Could easily be true, but could also easily not be true. One things for sure though...you don't go changing the one good thing about a class while everything else stays broken.

They can fix sunburns after everything else buffs correctly.

I just posted a thread almost stating the exact same theory. Sorry I didn't read this one first before I posted mine like an idiot. But I totally believe they are going to nerf the tat sunburns. Or they will notice there screwup and leave it to be nice to us but I doubt it. I'm not that optimistic...lol. But either way I'm sticking with the chef profession because I have faith that if we all band together and bitch enough they will give us what we want.

I would prefer to thing that Tatooine Sunburn is the only one that isn't a type o and that a virus erased all the other 0's from everything else we can craft.

a little something about sunburns...

The quality of the starshine makes no difference.... I used reactive gas with an oq of 5 and didn't experiment on both of the starshines.. the end result tat suburn was just like one made with good starshines..

this might save you all a little time and a lot of good reactive gas
