No, you don't need to use harvesters. For the last month or so I have just been buying resources I need off of the bazaars. Of course to grind up to MC you need TONS of corn, wheat and water, so your best bet would probably be to get a few heavy harvs to get these ingredients.

There are no macro programs to automatically make food, you will always have to manually add resources to the schematic slots, but everything else is automated. Search this forum for the dozens of posts about grinding macros.

My advice to you is get the credits while your still combat class then just buy all the resources needed at once.

You don't need harvesters. I just put a sample macro overnight......every night.........and hopefully your combat has resulted in a ton of money which can be used to buy resources. My best bet would be to grind Wastril Bread with wheat and fruit and get up to Mixology 2. There you can grind Tatooine Sunburns and also sell them.

I do use an occasional harvester here and there but that is because I am poor and can't really buy my own resources.

The sample macro is this:

/stand;

/sample;

/pause 5;

/sit;

/pause 35;

/ui action toolbarSlot11

Be sure to place this in the last slot (on the right) of your top hotkey bars. (F12).

If I have messed this up someway, you can probably find out the glitch.

When you are done, just type /dump

Hope this helps.
