ARGHHHH!!! I know i have seen this before on the board someplace, but I really have to agree. Usually when progressing up the skill tree the schematics you make should at least improve somewhat. I was looking for some of the sites that show the chef stats so that I knew what to expect, but most of them seem to have become extinct. Anyways, after checking out all of the recipes for entree III and seeing that they were subpar to Entree II, I was not a happy camper. Heck, Ormacheck is so much better than any of the recipes in Entree III, that it isn't even funny and it even has a pathetic duration......BLEAH!!!

I certainly hope Entree IV has some interesting foods in it that are actually worth making. I haven't gone up the Dessert column yet, and just need 1 more for Mixology, but I think Chef really needs some work. Anymore it seems the only useful schematic is Tatooine Sunburns. It is THE ONLY worthwhile schematic so far with 3-0-3-4 skill. Stupid food stat bug. Sorry to have wasted everyones time with this post, but dealing with the stat bug, and then grinding through 57k exp to get recipes like Entree III was very annoying to say the least. Why couldn't they at least offer us foods with more duration or that affect multiple stats. Stupid how we get foods at the 3rd box up level that only affects 1 stat for the same duration as 1rst box skills.

So is the stat fix supposed to go in with the big patch coming up next week? That would at least make my foods worth eating again, even if it only affects 1-2 stats for 2 minutes at a stretch. I hate being reduced to producing "Pet Food" for people. I am a chef dang it. I cater to 2 legged humanoids, not your pampered pets. **cry**

Yes Yes we all know the food progresion was thought up by some kind of monkey. I'm thinkin a baboon.
We were promised a balance pass like4 months ago (that about right?), but then the devs institued a 'No love for Chefs rule'and the balance pass never came.

Ha baboon! You give them too much credit, I was thinking more along the lines of a Saimiri oerstedi, Platyrrhini otherwise known as a "Squirrel monkey"

Upon further investigation I have decided that they are not exactly part of the primate family but infact are part of the sloth family. More specifically the toe-toed sloth.

Here are some other similarities:

  • Although sloths can swim and ably defend themselves, they prefer to hide

  • Devs can swim and defend themselves, and also choose to hide

  • Two-toed Sloths sleep in trees curled in balls

  • Devs also sleep in trees (skyscrapers) curled up into balls in their cubicles

  • Sloths are more active at night

  • Devs are more active at night

  • Sloths are slow at doing anything

  • Devs are slow at doing anything

  • Sloths hiss loudly and slash with front claws when confronted

  • Devs hiss loudly and slash on the forums when confronted

  • Sloths have short necks with a limited range

  • Devs also have a limited range of site

The word Sloth as we all know, is one of the capital 7 sins, and is best described by the Catholic Encyclopedia as "the disinclination to labour or exertion". This adds only more proof to my claims.

Coincedence??? I think not.
