I was hoping to go into business as a Brewmaster, meaning I was going to specialize in Jawa Beer and Correlian Ale. Being an entertainer, I have found it easy to sell these in taverns and cantinas between sets. However, I have noticed that crafting Jawa Beer does not in fact give me food crafting experience. This sucks. I don't want to have to grind out Wastril Bread just because I want Cooking 1-4 to make better beers. And 32k of FCExp is a lot just to make Ale. Chef is a tough line of work.

If you want better Jawa Beer, then you need to get Engineering 1-4 in the Artisan tree. Chef skills have nothing to do with Jawa Beer.

Now if you want Mixology 1-4 and Cooking 1-4, then you would need to craft Wastril Bread and then Stewed Gwouch to get those Food Crafting XP.

Nah, do the Wastril Bread and then Ithorian Mist so that you only have points in mixology and cooking.

Thanks for the "tough line of work" comment. We brought up quite a while back....like 3 months ago....how domestic foods don't give food exp except for when you are getting novice in the craft. The temporary workaround has been to cap exp in novice at double the requirement for novice chef.
