Hey all. I'm a Master Doc and i use Bivoli all the time to help my buffs. It's great, but the only complaint i have it the fact that it dosn't tell you when the effects wear off. I don't know if this has been posted before or not, and if this is a re-post then i appologize. But if you could all let me know if anything is being done about this i would appreciate it.

If nothing is being done, then maybe the Chef corespondent could pass the idea along to the devs. I don't forsee it to be a problem. It's a pain when the food leaves right in the middle of buffing someone and you don't know till you give them a weaker buff. Thanks all.

This is something with any food. It might be worthwhile to add that funtion on them, but honestly with the current schedule for the devs I don't expect many new functions in the next few months other than those already stated.

As Sethcran stated, there is a buff window. Normally found in the lower right of your sreen. It tells you what you have eaten, and how much time is left before it expires. Also, when a Doc enhances us with a buff, those timers also appear in the same window. Anytime you enhance yourself thru a buff, food, or spice (i think), it appears in that handy little window.

However, one for the devs, would be to tell us what % our stomach has left in it for a new consumption of food or drink. At this point we are all eye-balling it. Or take the easy way and try to eat one and get a 'reject' message hehe.

Little window in lower right. Oh, and they just gave us the ability to close that window. You may have closed it not knowing what it was. To get it back, if it doesnt come back on a reload, is beyond me. I'd suggest trying crtl+o or ctrl+c

Peace, be healthy, and eat lots of food

The buff window is nice and all but how many people look at that when they are in the middle of 6 enraged Rancors?

A system message saying x food has expired(doc buffs for that matter as well) I think would be a good thing. There is already a system message when you get buffed or use food, I don't think a system message when it wears off would be too much to ask for.

Thanks for the info about the buff window. And i agree, i don't think it would be to much to ask for. A simple pop up that lets you know that your food runs out would come in handy. Either way, it's not a big deal. I was just wondering out of curiosity, thanks again.

with something like this i'd suggest putting the bivoli in a toolbar, then creating a macro, either:

/ui action toolbarSlot11;/pause 600;/macro bivoli;

or

/ui action toolbarSlot11;/alarmAddIn 0 10 bivoli has worn off;

the first one wil automatically eat a new bivoli after 10 minutes, or the second will give you a message after 10 minutes whe the bivoli wears off. i don't remember how long bivoli actually lasts off hand, but you can figure that out easily enough
