Ok ive now surveyed 6 planets. looking for berries,fruits,vedgetables (every1)
so far found absolutely nothing worth harvesting. I remember mineral surveying u could go to any planet practically and find great resources for most profs...do we chef get a good spawn of something once every year? (must admit seems identical, if not worst for the docs)

Tat berries and Talusian fruit is what I'm using atm, waiting for something better to come by.

yeah same for me timoh. Its just really frustrating when you survey practically the whole galaxy and find absolutely nothing worth harvesting. I understand they dont want chefs jobs to be really easy but a few more frequent spawns of good resources would be nice, especially since many of proffessions get an easy ride.

I think the problem is most chefs require their resources to have many good stats.
Weaponsmiths have either SR or OQ/CD to look atfor most cases. Rarely will you ever find a resource with 900+ cond and OQ. But chefs look for flora with OQ 900+, PE 900+ and then even want good FL and DR.
Chef is different than many crafting professions because every stat on most resources we use is important. And those that have the same 3-4 useful stats, have much fewer resources to worry about.
Something can have 900+ FL,PE,DR and if the OQ is 200 it is pretty much crap to me. Or all 900+ and PE is crap, the same thing.

Dunno what you think its worth, but on Tat we have some nice berries. I think PE + OQ are nearly 1800. Problem is that they will disappear in the future (still 9 days on server)
