another hologrinder -.- just read sciguyco's ultimite chef FAQ,it tells you what to grind, exactly how much of it is needed to grind, and how long it should take

edit: sorry that was a bit rude of me,but i wish more people would do chef on their own choice instead of hologrinding...

Guy just asked a question, why is it any of your business if he holo grinds or not? That's the problem with this game, folks always thinking they're better than someone else.

Anyway to answer your question, on starsider, you can probably get those resources for about 2 cpu apiece. I think you need something like 80-90k berries, so that's 160-180k right there, about 60k water, 120k, and some assorted ceral and veggies, probably say 100k to be on the safe side.

I think you just might've just gotten some stored up backlash, hologrinding seems to be slowing down overall with the announcement of the FS quest system going in publish 10. And as nice as my FAQ is, it doesn't cover everything, but thanks for checking it out.

Grind-quality resources on Chilastra (hiya, neighbor ) mostly seem to go for 2-3 cpu, although being able to find any is a bit tough. Resource vendors might have low-qual cereal and water(since chefs and other professions use those for components), but other stuff might be harder to come by. You can try checking the planetary map for "resource vendors", and either see what they have available, or get in touch with the owner to see if they'll do a contract job for you.

You might just try picking up a couple heavy flora harvesters and a heavy water. Heavies generally go for 100-125k each, but the resources are going to be much cheaper for you than buying them.

The grind time works out to about 10-12 hours total, depending on how fast your macro is. So if you put in a couple hours of grind a day, you can knock out chef in less than a week.
