i noticed it says when i examine it +20 experiment. pre-cu it was +11. so i use it and i try to experiment and only +1 for experiment which i get from novice ls. it should be a total of +3 ( +10 (novice ls) +20 (bespine port)).so is it like the fs experiment or is it broken?

Doesn't give more experimentation points. Gives a better chance of getting a desirable result from crafting.

Yeah, just a better chance for amazing successes, and I think it's working MUCH better now that it's +20... Before I couldn't tell if it worked at all, but lately it's been a big help.

I have also noticed this, it does seem to work better

Yeah my Tat Fruit is quite crappy, but +20 sure is a lot better than the +11 I used to have

I'm a food user and abuser. I'm having problems with the Bespine Port effect expiring after just one experiment. Must admit this is the first time I've used this food, but this doesn't seem correct.

That's how it's intended to be used. Just affects the next experimentation.

Post-CU Port has the same stat range and additive size as Bivoli (both pre- and post-CU). So with decent resources and tissue you should see a range of +20 to +25 (with +26 possible but extremely difficult to hit). My converted port came out at +21 (after I fixed the stats by splitting the crates), and I was able to hand-make some +23.
Of course, Port requires Tat-specific flora, so you only have one choice for each slot in a given shift, compared to Bivoli's options of 9-10 different carni meats and 40 different vegetables, so hitting the higher end is going to require lucking intosome good Tat fruits/berries/tubers spawns.
